Would you please pass on my condolences to the family of Mr. Dennis Wall. As Cheadle’s scorer I did spend many an hour in his company putting the world to right, especially the world of cricket. I am sure that he will be greatly missed.

I’m very sorry to learn that Dennis has passed away. Several of us have very fond memories of Dennis including fulfilling his Stafford match scoring duties – for a number of years we’ve had very young scorers and at times some absolute novices – his patience and the kindly assistance he gave reflected the gentleman he was and was very much appreciated by all at Silverdale.
With our condolences to his family from all at Silverdale Cricket Club.
Kind regards

From the early days of Stafford entering the league in 1979 one of my memories is of their most gentlemanly secretary Dennis Wall. I wish to express my condolences to his family and all who new and respected him as I did.
I remember visiting the ground inside the English Electric works and a number of presentation functions at Stafford. Dennis is part of these memories.
